Other information

Architectural accessibility

In front of the Main Gate to the Garden from Dabrowski Street, there are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. Exposition and Teaching Pavilion: – has a staircase equipped with handrails, next to which there is a ramp for people in in wheelchairs – the entrance from the ramp leads to level “1” of the building – the doors do not open automatically Inside the building: – there are stairs equipped with handrails, – there is a passenger crane that serves part of the levels of the building, – toilets adapted for people with disabilities are located on level “0” inside the building and on level “0” with entrance from outside the building The building is not equipped with an information system for people with sensory disabilities. The entrances to the other buildings and to the Summer Pavilion at the UAM Botanical Garden are not adapted for people with disabilities. They have stairs and steps without handrails or lifts. The interiors of the buildings are not adapted for people with disabilities (no elevators, no toilets adapted for people with disabilities). It is possible to enter the UAM Botanical Garden with an assistance dog (based on the Law on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities).

Communication and information accessibility

There are no materials on the site that require a sign language interpreter.
